Measures we take
- Semantic page landmarks and a “skip to content” link
- Full keyboard operability with a visible focus indicator
- Alternative text on images and accessible names on links and buttons
- Page zoom up to 200% without loss of content
- Colour contrast meeting the AA threshold
- Automated testing with axe-core plus manual review
Known limitations
Our automated testing is clean, but automated tools only cover part of the picture, so we continue manual screen-reader and keyboard testing of key journeys. Some third-party embeds (videos, maps, social feeds) follow their providers’ own accessibility, which we do not fully control. The on-site language switcher uses automatic machine translation, which may not match a professional human translation.
Ongoing monitoring
Accessibility is built into the site rather than added through a third-party overlay widget. We re-test the site on a regular schedule as content changes, so it stays in good shape over time.
