Dear BPW Sisters,
Following the opening vision of BPW LISTENS – Your Voice Matters and the completion of the pilot phase, BPW International is now entering a decisive stage: preparing the organization for the global launch of the BPW LISTENS survey.
This transition from validation to global engagement highlights the strategic role of Regional Coordinators, Ambassadors, Focal Points, and Chairs of Standing Committees and Task Forces in supporting a shared, inclusive, and well-coordinated global process.
Where we are now
Between October and December, members from different regions and linguistic contexts participated in the pilot phase, helping to test, refine and validate the questionnaire. Their feedback strengthened clarity, inclusiveness and accessibility, ensuring the survey is respectful of members’ time and experiences.
Building on this foundation, the focus is now on organizational readiness — ensuring regions are aligned, informed and prepared before participation opens worldwide.
How we are preparing
- Eigth preparatory meetings were held with Regional Coordinators, Ambassadors, Focal Points and Chairs of Standing Committes and Task Forces in different languages to align expectations and support coordination across levels.
- Regular coordination meetings involving the International President and a technical team are guiding the next steps, strengthening trust, consistency and shared leadership.
- In parallel, 14 volunteer members from different regions are translating the questionnaire into their native languages, including Nepali, Indonesian, Mandarin Chinese, Arabic, German, Japanese, Italian, French, Spanish and Portuguese, among others, to ensure linguistic accessibility and cultural relevance.
- Practical support materials are being finalized, including clear instructions and a short tutorial video explaining step by step how members can participate.
What comes next
The global launch of BPW LISTENS will open a shared space for members worldwide to contribute perspectives that will directly inform future priorities and actions, in line with the BPW International Strategic Plan 2024–2027.
