1. What is BPW LISTENS – Your Voice Matters?
BPW LISTENS – Your Voice Matters is a global listening initiative led by BPW International. Its purpose is to gather insights, experiences, and perspectives from BPW members worldwide in order to inform future priorities, strategies, and actions of the organization.
This initiative represents an important step toward evidence-based decision-making and stronger alignment between BPW International and its members at all levels.
2. Why is BPW International launching this survey?
This initiative reflects BPW International’s commitment to listening carefully, inclusively, and respectfully to its members.
By better understanding members’ realities, needs, and expectations, BPW International can strengthen its relevance, ensure its strategies reflect diverse regional voices, and reinforce collective ownership of future directions.
3. Who can participate in the survey?
All BPW members are invited and strongly encouraged to participate.
Every voice matters — regardless of country, role, seniority, or length of membership within BPW. Broad participation is essential to ensure a representative and meaningful diagnosis.
4. How long does it take to complete the survey?
The survey takes approximately 12–15 minutes to complete.
It has been carefully designed to respect members’ time while collecting relevant and actionable insights.
5. In which languages is the survey available?
The survey is available in BPW’s official languages:
• English
• Spanish
• French
• Italian
In addition, other languages from Europe and Asia-Pacific Regions have been included to facilitate participation across regions, depending on local needs and availability:

6. When does the survey open and close?
The BPW LISTENS survey officially opens on February 9.
Members are encouraged to participate as early as possible to ensure balanced representation and timely analysis.
7. How will the results be used?
The survey results will directly inform BPW International’s future priorities and actions.
They will contribute to strategic planning, program development, and the strengthening of governance, communication, and member engagement, ensuring that decisions are grounded in members’ lived experiences.
8. Is my participation confidential?
Yes. All responses are treated with strict confidentiality.
Survey data are analyzed in aggregate form and used exclusively for analytical and strategic purposes within BPW International. Individual responses are not identified or disclosed.
9. Who is supporting this campaign?
The BPW LISTENS initiative is supported by the International President, the International Executive, Regional Coordinators, Standing Committees Chairs and Task Force Chairs. The survey also has Ambassadors and Focal Points in all five regions, including leadership and presidents from Clubs and Federations. Finally, BPW LISTENS has dedicated technical and coordination teams.
This is a collective and cross-regional effort.
10. Where can I find more information or support?
If you need any kind of support, the easiest way to get it is through the person who sent you the link of the survey, or go straight to your Club or Federation President. Regional Coordinators are also key to helping you through this time. All of them have direct access to the technical team of the survey. Members may also contact their Ambassadors, Focal Points, or regional and national WhatsApp groups for local support.
Beware of updates, guidance, and additional resources about BPW LISTENS shared through BPW International’s official website, social media channels, and official email communications.
11. Do I need to prepare anything before answering the survey?
No preparation is required. The survey is based on your experience and perceptions as a BPW member. There are no right or wrong answers.
12. Can I stop and continue later?
Yes. You may pause and continue later only if you save your responses before exiting, using the corresponding Save / Save and Continue Later option provided in the survey.
Please note that if you close the browser or exit the survey without saving, your responses may be lost. You must use the same device and browser to resume, provided the survey is still open.
13. What if I am new to BPW or not very familiar with BPW International?
Your perspective is especially valuable. BPW LISTENS aims to capture experiences at all stages of membership, including first impressions and early engagement.
14. Will participants receive feedback or see the results?
Yes. Key findings and outcomes will be shared with members through BPW International’s official communication channels once the analysis phase is complete.
Troubleshooting (Technical & Language Issues)
15. What should I do if I experience technical or language issues?
If you encounter any difficulties, please contact your ambassador or local representative, or report the issue through regional coordination channels. Technical assistance is available.
15.1 The link won’t open / the page stays blank. What should I do?
If you are experiencing any technical difficulties:
• First try to switch Wi-Fi or use your mobile network in your cellphone.
• You can also try to use an anonymous tab, or switch browsers (Mozilla, Chrome, Safari, Edge, Opera…).
• If none of this works, please contact your regional coordinator so the technical team can help you.
15.2 I get a “Secure connection error” (especially in Safari).
• Try a different network: switch to another wi-fi or use your phone’s internet connection.
15.3 The form loads slowly or gets stuck on “Please wait…”.
• Switch networks (Wi-Fi ↔ mobile data).
• Close heavy apps/tabs.
• Try again in Incognito/Private mode or in a different browser.
15.4 On my phone it looks odd / I can’t tap “Next”.
• Rotate your phone to landscape.
• Close background apps.
• Try a different mobile browser.
• Scroll slightly up/down.
15.5 It opened in a language that isn’t mine. How do I change it?
At the top of the form, you will see a language selector. 1. Tap/click the current language 2. Select your language 3. Continue normally (the form will display in the selected language)
15.6 Can I change the language midway through the form?
Yes. You can switch languages anytime using the selector.
15.7 I see an error message. What should I do?
This usually means a required part of a multi-level question was left unanswered. Go back to the question, complete the missing answer, and the survey will reset automatically.
