Dear BPW members,
Before moving toward the global launch of BPW LISTENS – Your Voice Matters, BPW International worked from October through December on the design and implementation of a pilot phase, as part of a broader diagnostic and participatory process.
Implemented in December, the pilot phase allowed the listening instrument to be tested, refined, and validated before opening the process to the global membership.
A Structured Diagnostic Preparation
The pilot phase was designed as a quality and validation stage, ensuring that the questionnaire was clear, relevant, and meaningful before being shared on a global scale.
Structured into eight thematic sections, the questionnaire reflects key dimensions of BPW members’ experiences and aligns with the organization’s strategic vision.
Diversity and Global Perspectives
BPW members from different regions of the world participated in the pilot phase, ensuring cultural, linguistic, and regional diversity in the review of the instrument.
Beyond responding to the questionnaire, participants shared qualitative feedback that supported improvements in clarity, accessibility, and overall experience.
Validation and Alignment
Insights gathered during the pilot phase contributed to:
• Refining language and structure,
• Identifying potential barriers to participation,
• Strengthening inclusiveness across regions.
This step reflects BPW International’s commitment to careful preparation before inviting members to share their voices, ensuring trust and respect for members’ time and contributions.
A Foundation for the Global Phase
The pilot phase represents an essential milestone in the BPW LISTENS journey. It confirms that this initiative is a methodologically sound and participatory diagnostic process, designed to support informed decisions and long-term impact.
With this foundation in place, BPW International now moves toward the Global Launch phase, supported by clarity, preparation, and collective leadership.
Listening is an intentional process and this foundation ensures that voices are heard with care and purpose.
